I'm a little disappointed in how little of Jenn we've seen this season. I thought she would be a power player but she's been missing in the last two episodes. I know it looks like she lands a vicious right hook next week but we don't know exactly what that means. Luckily, we have the Challenge Dailies to give us some insight into what's really happening behind the scenes. What, you don't watch every one of these? I mean, me neither...
First, let's start with Jenn breaking it down about rich boy Pete. And revealing that most of the cast members are heavily in debt and broke as fuck. Shocker. They have the schedules to go on challenges every few months, of course they're broke.
As an aside, I feel like my lifestyle would be perfect for these things, and once again I'm sad I never made it onto MTV. Or like MTV International or MTV Mandarin at least. And I'm not even in the age range for Tyrese's Asian Jersey Shore either. So sad. Why didn't I prostitute myself for my two seconds of fame when I was young? Now my best years are behind me.
I was also thinking, the winners of these things get what, $50,000? That's nothing. After taxes you're looking at half of that? That's enough to party for three to six months. Consider what you'd win by going on Survivor or Big Brother. MTV is ripping these people off, totally! I demand better prizes and more cash so the winners can have at least five years of partying. I'd also like a full run down of what each contestant does in real life, and what their careers and fortunes are. And their tri-merge credit scores.
Here is the real clip I wanted to show off though, "Hottest Girl at the Party." It features Jenn talking to Ryan about how she's on this show to make money and not be the stupid party girl or whatever. She also sheds a literal tear for Cara Maria and Darrell. I can't tell if Jenn is drunk or just being herself. The amazing random line she throws in during her rant is, "I'm just hungry, can I eat some fucking food? Like chill the fuck out everybody."
What?! This is shades of J-Woww's famous line: "I felt like drinking ham and drinking water." Bill Simmons has a theory about these reality shows that any girl with double letters is bound to be crazy (or slutty). Jenn and Jenni are poster children for this insight. I can't wait to get drunk this weekend and then talk about some crazy food item I really need to be eating right now. Like the KFC Double Down. (Which I tried already btw, it's just okay)
Thirdly, here's a video of Jenn talking about why she picked Noor. Enjoy this George because this may be the last footage we get of them. J-E-double N seems headed for the Challenge penitentiary from the preview shot of her right hook. Who's excited for this week's show?!
Oh wait, while I'm here, I wanted to show you all this amazing clip of two members of Team Victory bonding. Ryan and Katelynn have some things in common and as Ryan says to her, "I want to be on the same page as you, because we're on the same team, in life." As the rainbow flag toting portion of my team, I was surprised to see them argue with each other. Perhaps I need to change my team name to Team Unity in response. Watch Ryan confront Katelynn about how she throws her sexuality at everyone in the house and how all the guys are scared/put off/annoyed by it.
And then the following clip where Katelynn is fuming and pissed off and sure it was just a tactical move to get her pissed off. My entire team seems to be feuding between these two clips because in the end, Katelynn accuses Sarah of being totally changed since the last Challenge. Say it loud sister, say it loud! Her point about Sarah being kind of a cocky wise ass is kinda true though.
Who said my team was boring this season! Team United Victory is full of drama, even if it's relegated to the B-reel.
