Total Madness: Rosters

We had our very first live draft at on a Friday night! Using Zoom, eight of us took time out of our busy social lives to get together for a four round snake draft! Seeing as there were only twenty-eight contestants, we instituted new rules that the last round would be a double up round, allowing the last four remaining contestants to be drafted twice each -- in any order. And then we group rated each team! What fun!

Teams in draft order, and by the order each contestant was selected.

Victor: Tori, Cory, Asaf, Aneesa
Yasmine: Jordan, Wes, Nany, Aneesa
Jon: Fessy, Kaycee, Nelson, Jay
Susan: Jenny, Rogan, Ashley, Swaggy
George: CT, Jenna, Bayleigh, Swaggy

War of the Worlds 2: Rosters

Alliance Ruthie-less (Odd)

• Kim: Laurel, Theo, Bananas, Josh
• Yasmine: Jordan, Turbo, Bear, Zahida
• Roger: Kam, Ashley, Zach, Leroy
• Susan: Wes, Kyle, Nany, Faith

Alliance Reality Bites (Even)

• Ameer: CT, Dee, Tori, Tula
• Jon: Cara Maria, Jenny, Idris, Kayleigh
• George: Paulie, Georgia, Sean, Evelyn
• Victor: Ninja, Joss, Rogan, Nicole

Some analysis:

• Alliance Ruthie-less has eleven USA players, four UK players, and one reinforcement (Turbo).
• Alliance Reality Bites subsequently has ten UK players, three US, and three of the reinforcements.

• Alliance Ruthie-less has ten guys and six girls, with six of the guys being US and five of their six girls being US, the lone exception is Zahida.
• Alliance Reality Bites has ten girls and six boys, with four UK boys plus Paulie -- and wherever CT lands -- and then only two of their ten girls are USA (Cara Maria and Tori) with six UK ladies plus wherever Ninja and Dee end up.

• In short, it's Team USA (Alliance Ruthie-less) vs Team UK (Alliance Reality Bites) while Alliance Ruthie-less should be cheering hard for any USA girl win and Alliance Reality Bites cheering for almost any UK guy win outside of Bear, Kyle, and Theo.

War of the Worlds: Rosters

A Fresh Meat-ish season after the Challenge "revamp" and we're lucky enough to add a fresh meat ourselves! Longtime MTV Real World watcher and fellow fantasy fanatic Roger joins us as we now grow to seven owners! It's gonna be a very exciting new season of the Challenge!

Note that we have two Liz's as Jon and Roger will both share her points, since there are only 34 contestants. That was deemed more preferable than leaving five contestants out to be "undrafted."

Kim: Smashley, CT, Morgan, Josh, Zahida
Victor: Kyle, Jenna, Theo, Chase, Shaleen
Yasmine: Cara Maria, Ninja, Turbo, Ashley C, JP
George: Bananas, Paulie, Georgia, Natalie, Julia
Jon: Hunter, Nany, Gus, Mattie, Liz
Roger: Leroy, Kam, Dee, Bear, Liz

Undrafted: none

Champs vs Stars: Rosters

Let's be honest: we're a little MTV Challenged out! In 2017 we've had Invasion, Champs vs Pros, Dirty XXX, and now Champs vs Stars. So with that in mind, we're gonna take a mini-break from our regular game and just play Champs vs Stars a little more casually.

The rules are as follows: Pick four of the twenty Champs or Stars and if any of them make the finals, you get a +1. If there is a tie-breaker needed, then tie goes to the team owner that has the most overall winners on their team. If that's still a tie, then we have a tie!

No weekly competition scoring, no bonus points, just quick, clean, and easy. Also, Victor is in Canada so he didn't partake of our "draft" but here are the teams as we submitted them.

• Jon: Emily, Terrell Owens, Kim Glass, Zach
• Yasmine: Emily, Terrell Owens, Kim Glass, CT
• Susan: Emily, Terrell Owens, Kim Glass, Wes
• Kim: Emily, Terrell Owens, Kim Glass, Cory
• George: Emily, Terrell Owens, CT, Michelle Waterson

Ah, as you can see, almost all of our teams picked the trio of Emily, TO, and Kim Glass. So basically we're cheering for Champs males, and if somehow Michelle Waterson gets to the finals, George could be looking at a back-to-back Challenge championship....

Invasion: Rosters and Draft

Last year's champ, Jon, comes out with the #1 pick and that should be a boost for him to defend his title. Then again, picking first has never really led to great success so we'll have to see what shakes out!

As for the format, we figured out halfway through that the eight champs in question might come in late in the game, which might give Yasmine's team the edge, as she passed on drafted a champ at all. As our winningest owner, this could be a tremendous risk that could pay off into reward!

Jon: Laurel, Amanda, Ashley M, Kailah
Kim: Cara Maria, Bruno, Ashley K, Theo
Victor: CT, Camila, Tony, Sylvia
Susan: Jenna, Darrell, Dario, LaToya
George: Bananas, Zach, Nelson, Anika
Yasmine: Cory, Hunter, Nicole, Marie

Undrafted: Anthony, Shane

Rivals III: Rosters and Draft

Stop me if I'm repeating myself but I'll quote from last season: "George gets yet another #1 overall pick (last year she got #1 and took Bananas)..." Is that three in a row for her? I'm glad George is good at winning something in this league! And it looks like she could be winning already after EP1, so this could be her year! #nojinx

Also, Kim is trying out the random method -- altho we question how she "randomly" got her favorite, Leroy -- and maybe that'll take her to a first title? Either way, Rivals III already looks pretty exciting!

George: Jenna, Camila, Averey, Nate
Susan: KellyAnne, Bananas, Johnny R, Cheyenne
Victor: Wes, Jaime, Tony, Brianna
Jon: Sarah, Cory, Nicole, Dario
Kim: Leroy, Jessica, Thomas, Brandon
Yasmine: Nany, Vince, Ashley, Simone

Undrafted: Devin, Christina
