Thoughts:
Great Great Great. I wish I had better superlatives to capture the essence of the episode, but Great is what it was. A lot of different angles have been covered already, so I'll just mention some additional scenes that I enjoyed.


Wes and Mandi falling right away after a Tarzan attempt at the challenge. They proved gravity still works! Haha


Wes talking strategy with Evelyn and Landon. Favorite quote. Kenny is getting smarter, he's mutating.


Jenn after bitching out Mandi and on the cusp of getting kicked off, decides to calmly go back to drinking another cocktail

Rising:
Evelyn - Supa Woman E.V.E, tell us how much more can we sing your praises?? Not only did she dominate the exile, at one point picking up the MAN-pack and still powering to the end, it was revealed that she is the real mastermind behind Team Wes. Eve is intelligently hot! Also, for comparison, Team Lukelyn finished the exile in 1 hr 18 min. I believe that Pete/Jillian finished the exile in 1 hr 40-something minutes. That is pure domination and almost a half hour spread. They would have time to sit down, cool off, get bored and possibly send out a search party with that time. The Lukelyn train looks to be unstoppable if it comes down to a long distance final.

Jenn - She's not quiet anymore, and it appears that she's got a spy/mole/double agent thing going. Hmmm, so potentially not on the chopping block for the short term. We'll see how it pans out, b/c there are only 4 slots in the finals, which means Team Wes will have to turn on itself at one point. It is a matter of when, and not if. Jenn is loud bitchy and sneaky, all positive attributes for someone who is "playing the game"

Falling:
Danny - El Lardo...haha how did that name stick with us? I believe sometime last year, after watching Zero Personality Danny coast his way into another Challenge exit, there was a classic scene of Danny eating hamburger after hamburger. I don't think he gets that the challenge finals are mostly about endurance and that eating too much hurts your chances. It's actually a bit sad to see how much he has fallen. The last time I kept up with RW, was RW Austin and RW San Diego. Being the SD native that I am, I loved RW SD, and the cast was great. Brad, Robin, cute korean girl(vs Sandy who is just an annoying asian girl). I remember how Robin got sent to jail for being disorderly drunk and was sobbing thinking she was in jail in Mexico!! RW Austin was also great as it brought into existence my favorite, the G.O.A.T. Mr. Wes Bergmann. But interestingly enough, Danny was the star of that series and Wes was the red-headed sidekick. Were Danny and Melinda going to get together? That question has been answered, and as been pointed out earlier, the years and marriage have not been kind to Danny. To me, he exhibits traits of "Low Status Male". He comes off a very clueless and as someone who just doesn't get it. In the WK4 preview, we see Danny EAT his way into trouble by stealing and devouring Pete's potatoes with his grubby fingers and without asking. Go get him Lardo!! He's probably the type of person who visits your house, opens up the fridge and helps himself to things with out asking. I mean at least ask, most ppl are gracious enough to share but we like to be asked. I love the Challenge Daily scene where Kenny and Wes are talking and Danny tries to "break them up" when they get a bit testy. Wes and Kenny bluntly inform Danny that they aren't fighting and just talking, and that real men fight about money, and not potatoes!

Theresa - Ahhh, spicy Theresa. I feel worried about her chances now for the show. Regardless of how ugly ppl(or just Kenny and Kenny-ites) seem to think Wes is, I felt there was real attraction between Wes and Theresa that was trampled by Kenny's sloppy seconds comments. What redeeming qualities do ppl see in Kenny? The guy is a bully, and he's a dick. Period. Remember what he said to Sarah last Challenge? He compared Sarah to an ugly bike that he would ride if he needed, but didn't want any of his friends to see him on. He strung her along the entire episode, played with her feelings, called her out on being fat, told her she looked like someone doodled on her arm and made her cry. Someone explain to me why Kenny has any fans at all. And Kenny has a history of being an ass throughout the Challenges. I suppose he does it to be intimidating, but I think he also gets off on it. Anyways, it remains to be seen if Theresa is sincerely hurt, but to survive reality tv one has to develop a hardened exoskeleton layer. Pick yourself up and brush it off, and hopefully your first Challenge won't be over so quick.

Jeff - I hate to kick a person when he is down, but really, any way you cut it, his Exile performance was piss poor. Paula summed it up perfectly, Jeff, you tried out for the Navy SEALS, I'm a girl who played the Tuba, I wore headgear, and I have fake boobs. C'mon let's go! Pathetic. Not only did 120lbs Luke who was carrying half his body weight out run you, but Supa Woman E.V.E. carrying THAT SAME WEIGHT out ran you. Go Home. Don't come back. Navy SEAL my ass. I'm willing wager that Jeff did not make it very far in that process, hell, he probably just got rejected after he mailed in the application form.
