The CT Conundrum

I need to examine the "Is CT a bad guy" question. I'm perplexed because I've been rooting hard for him so far but this past episode, I experienced what Mandi and Laurel must have felt: fear that they'd been duped. To be honest, I don't remember CT except from his "I'm a killer and puncher" incarnation. I have no recollection of what he was like on RW: Paris. Heck, I didn't even recall that he made his debut with Adam on the same season. No wonder they dislike each other. I'd want to punch Adam too after hanging out with him for almost ten years. (How annoying is Adam?!)

While it's no great moral judgement to say that CT could have handled the Mandi and Laurel situation better, it's fair to say that CT was definitely not falling for Mandi. If anything, his attraction to Laurel is a lot more real. Then again. Was it? In the span of one episode, CT refuses to help her -- legitimate because he knows which way she'll vote -- and then cheers wildly for her to get eliminated. On top of all that, CT has to go jumping in Cara Maria's face about her actions. And then he disses Abram. Really CT? What did Cara Maria ever do to you?

While we haven't seen CT's dark side this season, I've slowly been drained of my support for him. I still want him to beat the Bro-alliance, but once you mess with Cara Maria, you're off my list. And shouldn't he have tried to rally some contestants to his side? By my count, if he could get the newbies and one other pair, he would have the upper hand. Instead he just keeps waiting for Adam to be his friend and losing challenges to Johnny and Tyler.

Jenn, why go batshit crazy on CM when she suggests you had sex with Adam? Is he only cuddle-able but not fuck worthy? I don't understand. I feel like Jenn knows she needs to go crazy once a season to be invited back again so she waits for someone to slight her. I do have to say though, nobody can compete with her when she's on her insult game. Cara Maria made a valiant attempt but Jenn is just too mean to win a verbal battle against.

While we're at it, this Wes and Mandi hookup is gross. I feel like they are brother and sister hooking up for some reason. It's less gross than Jenn and Adam, but gross all the time. Dammit, why wasn't there any footage of Laurel and CT hooking up? Sheesh. What were the odds Vegas would have given to Laurel and Cara Maria winning in that Jungle? A billion to one? Jasmine and Jonna had no chance. Like negative chance.

I'm also trying to figure out why Cara Maria has no friends on the Challenges. Has she been tainted by the scent of Abram? None of the girls really like her, the guys ignore her, and it seems like she's just napping and sleeping a lot. I want her to wield her social skills next Challenge and gain some alliances. It's shocking that her best friend on these shows is now Laurel.
