"Is that a country or a region?"

What does it mean to wear someone's jersey? Now that's not rhetorical because clearly it's an important query. For some reason, Johnny and Co. are making fun of Laurel for wearing CT's jersey. Hey guys, don't you remember when your douchemate Evan was wearing Kenny's jersey? I mean, this whole changing jerseys things is something new. Depending on what color you wear, you show your allegiance. I mean, I like the idea but it's just really hilarious that the guys are now making fun of Laurel for declaring her allegiance when they were the ones who started it in the first place.

Let's talk about the loss of CT and Adam. While I really wanted CT to win, I strategically needed him to lose so that Yasmine would lose Adam. I mean, gaining that extra +5 for him making the finals would likey catapult her to another championship. We can't have that now can we?

In a perfectly fitting finale, it was Adam who dragged CT down. The surprise was that it wasn't a physical let down but a mental one. After carefully reviewing the episode, what Adam did was grab CT's ball as he ran back to his side. Tyler did the same thing, but Adam did it twice (maybe even three times). Basically he wasted extra trips and in the confusion slowed down CT. Even with that going on, they were a few seconds away from beating Tyler and Johnny.

Actually, let me amend that. Adam failed CT physically too. He had the upper hand running down the final slope but when Tyler fell down, so did Adam. And then Adam couldn't muster up the strength to crawl up the last hill, even with CT dragging him up. The big question is why CT didn't just grab Adam and lug him up.

How about that hit CT put on Tyler and Johnny? It was amazing! In one clean shot he took out both of them and stayed on his feet. That was incredible. What I don't understand is why he didn't just continue attacking Tyler and Johnny, buying more time for Adam to put his balls away. My guess is that the rules prevented explicit grabbing and shoving without heading toward the goal. Otherwise CT would have just mauled the other two and easily win the Challenge. In the end, it was Adam who took CT down, not any of the other guys.

Seeing the two of them all sad afterwards was heart breaking, even as the Nicholas Sparks music they played over Johnny and Tyler's victory juxtaposed the scene. I wanted CT to give Laurel a little peck so bad, but it was not to be. CT handled the loss really well, and really didn't have to say anything, as Adam clearly knew he did wrong. Poor guy.

How disturbing was it to find out that Cara Maria has Abe's old shirt on a pillow? Just slightly. Now I have to set in to defend Cara Maria's personality. It's safe to say that nobody has online stalked her like I've stalked her and I think she's got a very winning personality. What's different about her is that she's not a typical contestant on this show because she's neither alpha or even beta. She's a whole different breed who isn't into leading or necessarily following. The case can be made that her and Mike are the most out there people to ever appear on these shows.

Of course, Mike is beloved while Cara Maria clearly suffers from some liking problems. I think this is primarily because Mike can be a goofy guy and males tend to welcome one of their own, regardless of personality. The girls however, are quick to chuck someone aside if they have no use for her. What nobody pointed out the entire episode -- including Cara Maria herself -- is that she's been an above average competitor throughout the series.

For next week, it seems like Wes and Kenny should have this in the bag. Tyler is still sick, while Leroy and Mike are too slow. If they don't win the guys' side, that's pathetic. As for the girls, it's anyone's game -- except Jenn and Mandi's. I love that Jenn managed to get almost tiradey while still super sick. Who knew the rowing portion would eliminated 1/3 of the competition so quickly? Here's hoping the puzzles lay Evelyn and Paula low, so Laurel and Cara Maria can win the money they so richly deserve. And please, anyone but asshole Wes win this thing. Thanks.
