Standings: WK 8-13

Looks like we've got two more episodes -- and three days of finals -- to go! And while things were pretty neck-and-neck for awhile, it looks like we'll have a winner already, barring any last minute miracles.

  • Yasmine (117)
  • Jon (100)
  • Victor (83)
  • Susan (55)
  • George (50)
  • Kim (23)

Let's start at the bottom though, as we shine the spotlight on Kim's team, who had everyone eliminated by WK10, giving her not a lot to cheer for after Cara Maria left the Challenge. And while old favorite Darrell hung on for quite a few weeks, his elimination this past week insures that Susan is also out of the running, and could likely result in her finishing next-to-last, depending on how Nelson does for George. After assembling a powerhouse veteran team of Bananas and Zach, the only man left standing for George is Nelson, which has to be a bit of a surprise. If he can get some points in these finals -- or win it all -- he could vault her into fourth place.

And while Victor still has CT and Camila heading into the finals, he's unfortunately 30+ points behind the leader here, so he probably won't do better than third. Our defending champs, Jon, were so sure of an advantage in the finals that when he lost Laurel, he didn't even realize that his hopes of a back-to-back title had slipped away.

So it looks like Yasmine, whose bold "take only losers" strategy will pay off wildly behind Cory, Hunter, Nicole, and Shane (added after Marie got tossed). She's got an insurmountable lead and will look to capture her third title in five seasons.

But no early congrats yet, maybe Cory or Nicole will get kicked off the show? Oh wait, that would only increase her lead...

At least the rest of us will have Champs vs Pros to look forward to, starting May 16th!
