Please Stop It Already

Let's talk about something. While Sarah left the show two episodes ago, something she started doing really bothered me. I thought I could let it go but then it happened again this week. This whole trend of the weekly challenge winners going around to ask people to offer a defense. Really? Is this how that works now? Suddenly being the power couple allows you to go around and harass people while they are hanging out? I hate it. Sure, if a couple wants to come to YOU to talk, you let that happen. But this has lost all the behind the back strategy and back stabby-ness, instead devolving into reverse job interviews. "Why do you think you shouldn't be sent into the Dome?"

I blame Sarah for this because she started pulling this "I am so happy I have the power finally but now I feel sooooo bad that I have to use it against somebody." If you recall, before the whole Vinny incident, Sarah went around playing the den mother -- when did she become this Earth mother btw? -- and wanted everyone to play fair and be nice. Blech. This is why you suck Sarah. Four seasons ago you had the potential to be a hard charging player who was out for the win. Now you pretend to be weak, yet strong, yet weak, and want the Challenge to be kumbaya. Hells no!

This past week, Paula and Dunbar kind of did the same thing. I don't know why they are following Sarah's example of going around to interview everyone and pretending they want to be play nice. We all know they aren't, so stop it already. I don't want to see the power couple go around talking to people when it should be the other way around. People should be manipulating and groveling, not putting on a suit and tie and being all "let's talk it out." I hope next week's power couple plays to win!
