And here we are, another win for Yasmine, who won Vendettas and then took down Final Reckoning for another back-to-back title, which is her third repeat titles, after Free Agents / Exes 2 and Cutthroat / Rivals Jungle! My goodness. That's seven titles overall and the undisputed champ of all time. Which we knew already. So how did she do it?
Well, despite selecting Tony and Ashley who both didn't even show up until later in the season, Yasmine came up huge in the last few weeks behind Paulie and Ashley both making it to the finals. That was the edge actually, as they only edged out Jon by nine points. Shane, Brad, and Tony carried her most of the season until Ashley showed up and Paulie came out of Redemption. Then it was off to the races and the final stretch run proved that Yasmine was prescient in selecting two people not even on the cast list!
As for Jon, he had Nelson, Kayleigh, Zach, and Natalie all do well, but in the end came up short. Susan put up a good fight but by WK13 was down to just Marie. And Victor actually had two players left in the end, Sylvia and Cara Maria, but started off too slow to make an impact. As for George and Kim, well, better luck next year! So congrats to Yasmine, what a year as she dominated both 2018 MTV Challenge seasons and she deserves to take all the money! What will the revamp look like for this series next season?
