Meet the Meat

Alright kids, the highly anticipated next season of MTV Challenge is here! Just like they're adding thirteen all new contestants to Fresh Meat II, we're adding a new owner, Yasmine's good friend Kim (who helped her select Brianna over Sarah last season). So this time around it's 26 MTV contestants, six owners, and we're starting Week 1 of the viewing season. The draft order has been selected, each team will have four contestants, and it's going to be super exciting!

I'm sure by now we've all watched Meet the Meat (and the trailer) multiple times. I personally slow-moed stuff, took screen shots, noted everything I could and am still unsure of what my draft strategy should be. HT has indicated that she'll be using a new strategy -- after revealing last year's winning formula right here on this blog -- which scares me a bit because she has the number one pick and was the runaway champion last year. I do know that I need to propose to Cara Maria right away.

The big question heading into the first week is "Where is Evelyn?" Last year's number overall draft pick is on the Wikipedia but nowhere to be found on MTV.com. There's one female missing from the MTV official page so that fuels speculation that they are hiding Eve or perhaps someone gets booted? They've been real careful to show no signs of Eve in any of the publicity stills or trailers so they must be holding something up their sleeve. The question is: Who dares to select a player they're not sure is even on the show?

As an aside, since we are using the same blog, I have put all the Ruins II stuff under a separate label and changed the look from the old template, the Ruin II's fantasy season's archives can be accessed here. We don't want all that goodness to disappear now do we? Good luck all!
