Team Weiner

My team is a bit of a sausage-fest and Jillian, who will be getting no sausage while she's on the challenge. I didn't have as much time to prepare for this draft as the previous one. If I had given things more thought, I might have ended up with Cara Maria instead of Jillian. I got a bit lucky with that one, depending on how you look at it. Cara Maria got the drama points, but Jillian will be around for another episode and hopefully for the finals!

Let me dissect my picks.

Kenny - no brainer. He has tons of challenge wins under his belt, but it will be interesting to see how he fares without Evan by his side. Between Kenny and Wes, I will always pick Kenny because I am prejudiced against redheaded men.

Jillian - I don't particularly care for her, but I remember her being fiesty and conniving during the Gauntlet III. She flies under the radar and goes underestimated, which she wisely uses to her advantage. Unfortunately, I won't be getting any hook-up points from her since she is with Frank. Blah. Maybe she can have a few crazy tirades?

Pete - I am not sure what appealed to me about Pete. He seems kind of like a cocky jock, but has some brains too. Easy on the eyes... I think that equals staying power and at least a few hook-ups.

CJ - Eh... like others, I don't expect much from him, but I wasn't going to go with Brandon or Sydney. He has some athleticism, but let's be real... how much physical contact is involved with being a kicker? I am hoping that he'll have some hook-ups.

Overall, I can't complain too much about my picks, though I would have liked to have Laurel or Jenn on my team. Laurel seems to be the MVP of the episode. Not only did she win, but she also had a few hookups. Jenn is definitely potential for high drama, though she didn't earn any bonus points this episode.

It seems like we're all on a relatively level playing field. The bonus points are definitely adding a new dimension to this game and I'm excited to see how it will all unfold.

I was actually impressed by Pete after the episode. He could be a future Evan Jr, a brains/brawns combo. And he is dashing.
