Observations from the Top

I'm not sure if this was a legitimately good episode or if I just thought it was good because I got so many points out of it (putting me back in my rightful position). I was surprised that the exile between Jillian/Pete and Danny/Sandy was so close. Sandy's Asian math/puzzle skills were no joke, too bad she couldn't keep up physically and Danny was too much of a potato-eater to carry her bag for her like Pete did for Jillian. I'm glad that Danny didn't win though. Call it karma - it just isn't nice to stick your whole hand in someone's food, especially when they put spices on it. I am kind of concerned about Jillian's ability to compete in this game. On the dailies or bonus clips, Ev makes a good point that Jillian's Gauntlet was against some pretty lousy girls. I don't have a choice but to stand by Jillian though and Pete is no dud (fingers crossed that he keeps making out with Jenn on camera).

I'm also concerned about CJ, especially since he was in the previews for this week (even if they were pretty lame). The people in the previews almost always go into the Exile and Wes' alliance is definitely not the one you want to be on, considering how Wes threw Danny under the bus. You have to wonder who's next. Obviously they are keeping Ryan around as the sacrificial lamb. Can Wes AND Evelyn both make it into the finals? I saw a clip on mtv.com about how Evelyn claimed to be the big mastermind of the game. I haven't really been that impressed, with the exception of when they had Kenny/Laurel get rid of Sarah/Vinny in the exile, so I will be surprised for her to make a come back. She's the type that once she loses ground, she's done.

Now, that Pete... he'll really fight for the win. Now if only Jillian could pull her own weight.

Haha I was thinking along those lines as well!

If someone gets extra screen time beyond normal, it does foreshadow a booting. =)

I'm upset that you are on top again with a huge lead. Impressed, but upset.
