So Wes and Evelyn have screwed themselves over for sure. To save their asses this round, they sold out their own alliance who will never forgive them after this. The party is over. And serves them right. They're only thinking one challenge at a time. What did they think would happen after they screwed Landon and CJ?
I'm most impressed this week by Pete's superhuman strength. After over an hour pushing those logs, he digs down deep inside and finds a surge of SuperPete to push his team past the finish line. If I ever got pinned under a car, I would want Pete by my side. Because not only will he lift the car to set me free, but he'll lift it over his head and throw it against a tree. And then the bad guys will be like, "whoa," and the girls will be like "damn." And then he'll carry me away into the sunset. Cue the hero music.
And the award for Most Pathetic goes to CJ. First he can't win the log challenge with Wes on fresh legs. Then the fish tangram takes him and Sydney an hour and a half? All looks and no brains makes CJ a dull boy. Good riddance.

Yeah, I think Wes and Evelyn were thinking short term and not clearly.
Last week, if Eve and Wes just let things be, most likely Wes would have gotten sent in, and the vote would have gone
Eve - K/L, R/T, J/N
Ryan - E/L, L/C, C/S
For a tie. Maybe some weird tie breaking would occur, but Wes would still have the respect of the team if he came back.
I'm fairly certain it is going to be Wes/Eve this week, so they just deferred their sentence and also tarnished their reputation for future challenges. Sometimes its better to just lose with honor.
