Somebody once asked me why I try to over analyze everything and my answer is I don't really, or not anymore. My mind just operates that way naturally, that is to say...heavy handed.

But given my dearth of time and that most of my "thoughtful" analysis has already been offered in our Podcast, I'll utilize a technique from another Bill Simmons compadre, Malcolm Gladwell, and recollect my draft strategy as a series of "thin-slice" decisions.

For you those of you who have yet to experience the pleasure of reading his book Blink, Gladwell offers a premise that our decisions can be reduced to just one or two simple reasons. Sometimes sub-conscious, and sometimes lurking under the surface of awareness. It's the whole, a women can tell within 5 minutes of meeting a guy if she likes or dislikes him.

Thus one can "thin-slice" a decision to that one or two things that really tipped our choice the way it occurred. Gladwell also wrote, The Tipping Point, and Outliers for you readers out there. One day, Jon and I will finally write that book together that we said we would. Yes one day, if we can get to it. In the meantime, we can practice blogging.

So anyways, I'll limit my thoughts to a few lines and add a picture worth 1,000 words to it. Enjoy.
