Team I Will Shout You Down

Note: Although the first episode has already aired, I’m writing this before watching it (even before checking out the website!). That will help keep it fair in terms of team predictions…

Yes, I have collected a team of shouters. That wasn’t my intention, but so it has happened. I didn’t do my homework, so I was oblivious of who was on which colored team when I made selections. I was looking purely at who might make it to the end, and after that, who might cry, fuck and puke their way to the top. Here’s the run-down of my picks;

Johnny: his athletic prowess and powers of manipulation usually shine in these challenge games. He will be without his buddies this season, but I think he’ll still be able to stick around for a while. And hopefully he’ll get in a good fight or two.

Paula: While Paula never wins, she surprisingly makes it pretty damn far each time. And along the way, she usually hooks up, cries, and yes, shouts a lot.

Emily from DC: after picking two team members who I don’t really like, I needed to pick a friendly face. Throughout the DC Real World, Emily seemed like a generally balanced gal. Looking for fun, but not taking it to far. More importantly, she was always working out, she was always making out, and she partook in a good shouting match when needed (usually with Ty). For a mid-draft pick, I thought she came in strong. (I was also hoping to draft Ty, but alas, he was plucked away).

JD: JD was chosen mainly because I wanted another dude on my team. As for why him, I just remembered that table smashing scene from his Real World season and am hoping that he relives that on this season. I think he also cried on his season, and he has some muscles, so who knows, maybe he’ll surprise us all.

Katie: Well, the last round was rather slim pickings. Katie is usually good for several shouting matches—I’ll just hope she kicks it up a notch to crazy ass tirade, which we all know she’s capable of. Not sure if she’s still engaged, so I’m not sure if she’ll be hooking up. But she does normally stick around for a while since her competitor teams usually want her to remain the weak link of her team.

I’m keeping this blog post short and sweet—gotta go watch the first episode!

I'm starting to think Johnny B is gonna run his team, which will keep him around for awhile. Oh man! Between him and Paula they could really just socialize their way to the end!
