Team Missundaztood

I was very excited to select so high up in the draft, as the previous years my position has been last twice and second to last once. Then I realized that I liked selecting lower as the double down picks have always treated me well. Of course, being this high up, I felt the heavy burden of selecting someone that would be worthy. While I contemplated going with Evan or Kenny, my brain told me to select Laurel. My heart was with Cara Maria but I couldn't justify her as a top three pick, even with her outstanding performance in last year's Challenge. Laurel is just too good at racking up competition and bonus points, and she ended up in a five way tie for most points scored last season (24 points total, along with Tori, Sarah, Abram, and Cara Maria). Her rookie season, on Fresh Meat 2, Laurel was the second highest scoring girl, trailing only Jenn. Picking her this high was a no brainer as she's sure to scream, cry, bully, booze, get nude, and generally antagonize anyone around her.

Pairing Laurel with Johnny Bananas is going to make my team the most hated in the house. We all know Johnny is a huge asshole who makes every woman hate him and most of the guys uncomfortable. He's not my favorite player in the game but after the top tier guys were gone, he was the best one left on the board. Yes he got embarassingly carried off into the sunset last year on CT's back, but Johnny's a proud guy and now that Kenny is back, his alliance is strong again. I'm looking for Johnny to cruise into the finals.

All I know about Nehemiah is that he's not Alton. I can't recall if he was good on any of the Challenges but I'm thinking that he wasn't if I can't remember much about him. I know that he's from Wes' Real World season, so I'm hoping they form an alliance there, but it looks like his rival is Evan, who can be real hard headed and kind of an idiot. I'm reading that Nehemiah can be a bit emotional so I'm hoping for a few crying points. I debated taking Brandon here, but I'm not sure Brandon has much support among the cast, even though he did do amazing last season.

For my last pick, I almost took Aneesa before realizing that she's terrible, and her rival, Robin, is even worse competetively. I think Aneesa and Robin will stick around based on personality but didn't want to risk them getting bounced somewhat early. Instead I went wild card and took Leroy from the newest Real World season. I was thinking about Tyrie or Davis but they seemed a bit old (and Tyrie looks way too chubby right now) so I went with the new kid. After some research, I think this could be a great pick as Leroy is not only fit -- he's a trash man -- but also has a way with the ladies. If he doesn't get tossed early, I think Leroy has a big rookie season ahead of him.

While I didn't quite get the team I want, I'm hoping that the evil duo of Laurel and Johnny will take me to my first championship. It's about time I say. Four seasons in and I haven't even won yet? This can't be! PS, don't Laurel and Johnny look so nice in their official photos? And really, Laurel is quite pretty, even if all the girls here hate on her... Yes I'm naming my team after a Pink song, what of it? This is the season Laurel bitchslaps her way to the top and shows all her critics that she's really a nice girl at heart!
