Team The Trishelles

I have to admit, I wasn't looking to get Trishelle at all.  I was really hoping Alton would drop to me.  Because I wasn't familiar with most of the contestants this season, I was hoping to just get someone I had a history with.  Well, with Trishelle staring me in the face at #3, I just had to take her.  I couldn't remember if she was good at competitions but between her party girl reputation, her definite hook up points, and well, her Trishelle-ness, I've decided she's the best pick I could have gotten.  Thus I am naming my entire team after her.  That's right, a first in the history of this league! Trishelle is this team's spirit animal, she is our team's inspiration, and she is our undisputed leader. THE TRISHELLES!

If I was 100% positive Fresh Meat was showing up, I would have snapped up Cara Maria in an instant.  Instead, I went with Jemmye because I had heard that she was a "five tool player" in podcasts from Bill Simmons and Dave Jacoby.  I'm starting to think I need to watch some Real World because it's like playing fantasy football and trying to draft rookies without watching any college football.  I get a little lost on the new faces.  I thought Jemmye was the cute blonde from New Orleans.  Nope! That's McKenzie!  After I figured that out, I'm still all in on Jemmye because I think she's got great Challenge potential. I really hope she doesn't re-hook up Knight because he seems so boring.  Ugh.

For the record, there's only three champions on this season (I think), people who have won it all.  Alton, Wes, and Camila.  When Victor made the bastardly move of stealing Cara Maria from me, yet again, I had to take Camila because she's a strong competitor and an absolute steal in the third round.  We already know what Camila brings to the table and while she probably won't single handedly prop up my team like she did Yasmine's last year, I've owned Camila in the past and have a soft spot for her.

For my last two picks, I went with CJ and Robb, two former athletes who look impressive but seem to be the least coordinated college level sports people ever.  Basically I drafted CJ and Robb (who is six six!) to be my lumbering big men in the middle.  I don't have high hopes for either one really, but I needed some testosterone to balance out my fantastic group of girls.

I'm excited for this season because all this new blood means more drama, more hookups, and no predictability!
