Team Brawn Over Brains

Now while I don't have any of the trailer superstars on my team, I'm still quite pleased with my line up. I have some strong competitors, some players we know will provide bonus (hook up) points, and I have to say that my players are kinda lovable. Admit it, you're gonna want to cheer on Darrell and Luke. Probably also Vinny and Sandy...

Darrell-- As was pointed out earlier, he's a safe bet. He's a strong competitor, knows how to play the game, and usually makes it to the end...when his temper doesn't get the best of him. The ruins got him riled up several times, and I'm hoping that anger rears its ugly head again in Fresh Meat (but without getting him kicked off the season).

Vinny-- (a) we see two instances of him hooking up with Sarah on the trailer-- lovely hook-up points!; (B) Victor's theory-- pick the partners of the players who we think will last- and the trailer makes Sarah look like a key player this season; (c) he looks damn strong; (d) who needs brains on the challenge shows, right? Plus, I agree with Sarah-- look at those arms! I gotta cheer that on.

Luke-- Yes, his slowed speech shows the long-term side effects of too many drugs, but he was surprisingly impressive during the Meet the Meat games. We know he at least hooks up with Ryan. And he also seems to be the friendly funny guy. Alhough those guys don't usually make it to the very end, players usually want to keep them around for a while.

Sandy-- I went with a whole different strategy with my last pick. Feeling that all the strong competitors had already been picked, I wanted to pick a player who would rack up the bonus points. Basically, I was aiming for the person remaining who seemed like they might be a slutty sloppy drunk. Thus Sandy, primarily based on the comments on the website: "In high school, this Tacoma native was voted most likely to attend AA. She claims at any party she is always "the first to end up dancing on a bar stool."

Yasmine's photo highlighting Eve is rather intriguing. My guess is that one girl gets kicked off due to a brawl, and Evelyn takes her place. But were that to be the case, Yaz will miss out on getting points for Eve for the initial shows. I'm intrigued to see how that plays out. My highest expectations: definitely Wes and Kenny. My lowest expectation: CJ. He came off quite lame during RW Cancun (though everyone from that season did), and I expect nothing more from him now. Then again, that's how I felt about Sarah, so we shall see..
