Snake Eyes

What a great week! Putting personal feelings aside, it's thrilling to see points just get racked up all over the place. I had to pause the episode to get some pen and paper to jot things down. Little did I know most of those points were headed to Kim's team, but I was pretty damn excited to see the hot tub thing going on because I was pretty sure major hooking up was going to happen. But alas, they only showed Emily and Paula. I know there must have been more, there just had to be!

If you watch the Dailies, Laurel ends up being the "hurt" one, because Eric apparently trashes her somehow. I'd love to see the whole event but this side of Laurel is not a good one. It's hard to cheer for someone who goes right after a guy's insecurities and then attacks them. Especially a nice dude like Easy. Am I off Team Laurel? I think I have to be right? Was her apology enough?

Next year I say we have some kind of reward or penalty for people who DQ by choice. That has to be accounted for somehow. I don't even understand why Shauvon couldn't at least try the dice game, doesn't she realize this means she'll never be invited back? At least she was good for a not too shabby six points this time around. See you (never again) Shauvon!

Vinny, if you get beat by Big Easy on a Gulag like that, you deserve to go home. And I'm curious why he's such a loose cannon, as all his teammates seemed to agree that he was dead weight. I figure at the worst he's like a rocket launcher, just point him at something and watch him destroy. But two Challenges and two Exiles/Gulags in, Vinny has done nothing. Does he return next season? Tough call. And really, why be all angry about your teammates throwing you in -- not even saying "good bye" -- when it was obviously you or Luke getting tossed in as the newbies.

I did love the Gulag though, which was about dexterity and balance as much as strength. More fun stuff like that please!

Most boring team this year: Yasmine or George's? While both are scoring decently, their teams have just been uber-boring! It's like all my past teams filled with people who will stick around but rarely cause drama. Yasmine has the team that gets a lot of camera time but they rarely do anything, aside from Abe. And apart from Brandon, George's team of vets are super quiet, especially Jenn, who has to explode at someone soon right? Is it true, with old age comes boringness?

My team is totally boring, but I think I'm more disappointed by George's supposed Fresh-Meat-II-MVP Jenn being a total snoozer this season. I think Pete tamed her. C'mon Jenn, get crazy!
