Random Thoughts:
I have missed the Challenge and it took me one episode to remember that. Gosh, what I wouldn't give to be an unpaid intern on the show and just put scenes together. So many great things happened and this rivals format is perfect. I wanted to highlight a few select moments:

a) Wes tries to manipulate the rookies by teaching them the "bandwagon effect" to which Adam R with his bright juvie eyes says, "I'm in." Perhaps the troubled youngster was expecting to find his leader and long lost father figure in Wes. Street-smart Leroy steps in and retorts "Man I don't trust you motherfu*****. Don't buy into that bullsh**" I was literally on the ground in hysterics.

b) TJ introduces Jonna, as "John-Ney". I thought she was John-ah. Oh well, she'll be gone soon anyways. Btw, Ty's full name is Tyrell, I think that's what it says on his shirt, which further confuses me with Tyrie. Did anyone here read freakanomics? It's funny how names come into play, with the trend of ethnic african americans choosing to name their children with a specific type of name. Note, this is a recent trend, like within the last 20 yrs or so only.

c) Davis and Tyrie seem very exuberant before the challenge but clear only a whooping 5 marks. Oh I'm glad I didn't pick them. Although later, Davis plays wingman to his former cast mate and rival by tossing Jasmine into the pool. She is tiny. Did anyone else notice how she rag-dolled into the pool for a face flop??

d) Mandi and CT are crushing on each other. Oh boy. Mandi demonstrates her affection by holding back no punches, and calling CT the hottest guy. CT calls Mandi cute, but says she has a big head. I think its the hair CT.

e) Adam is sent packing, but I like the kid. He doesn't seem to be all that bad, just self-control issues. He got into it with Ty because he felt Ty was picking on the girls, and it looked like the last straw that sent him into the man-rage was when Leroy was trying to sequester Ty, and got into a shoving match. He shouldn't have fought, but he was getting excited b/c of a protective mentality he has.

f) Robin is bawling like a baby when she is sent into the first Jungle. Man she looks like a mess, ala Tonya-esque, I feel bad for her. Her "save-me" speech was very awkward and she just seems out of touch with what is going on. When Wes tries to comfort her, Robin talks about her baby, and also about how she's here b/c she wants to win money to make a better life for her baby. Wes lowers his head in an awkward moment. Win? Really?? Robin, you are the Nigeria of the Women's World Cup. That's the team that the others beat up on and advance based on upon who scores more on them...
